The Ski & Snowboard Surgery has been operating from back alley locations around Christchurch since 1998. 

Founded by Alex Herbert (who went on to start Kingswood Skis), the Surgery is backed by Alex’s 20-plus years of ski tuning experience and fronted by a friendly Swiss guy called Hampi (short for Hans Peter). There’s almost no damage that the doctors at the Ski & Board Surgery can’t fix. They specialise in major repairs but the workshop covers everything from a simple wax to a serious smack.
